Teaching With Mentimeter
With Mentimeter you can build interactive presentations with an easy-to-use online editor, directly from your browser. Add questions, polls, quizzes, slides, images, GIFs, and more to your presentation to make them more engaging and fun. When you present, your students use their smartphones or laptops to connect to the presentations, where they can answer questions, give feedback, and much more. Their responses are visualized in real-time, creating a unique and interactive experience. Once your Mentimeter presentation is over, you can share and export your results for further analysis.
Mentimeter has a number of different ways that you can engage your students and is compatible with Google Slides, PowerPoint and Keynote, and has the options for you to choose between the presenter and audience voting pace.

Why and how Mentimeter can enhance your teaching?
- You can engage with all students simultaneously. Regardless of where they are located, how many there are, or if they are a bit more shy or anxious - everyone is given a voice. Everyone can share anonymously.
- You can present content and ask questions; participate in various exercises with your students; seek feedback; brainstorm; prioritize; and understand experiences, needs, and emotions.
- Anonymity draws out even the shyest students and can encourage the most hesitant people to share. Being able to interact anonymously makes students feel more inclined to participate and make their contributions more honest.
- Mentimeter is suitable for both synchronous & asynchronous teaching. You can engage with your students during live sessions or send them Mentimeter surveys prior to, after a session, or anytime to collect their feedback or to assess prior knowledge.
