Recording Tools
This page contains an overview of institutionally available tools that can be used for recording various combinations of audio and video content, such as voice, screen, and webcam.
The tools below offer a range of features to record, edit, and share multimedia content. Carefully consider what must be accomplished and choose a tool based on what best meets our needs. For example, Google Slides and MS PowerPoint can record presentation slides, sound, and webcam, but they cannot record your full screen. Some tools also have transcripts and closed captioning options; these are excellent options for enhancing the accessibility of your content.
Note: Space in your Google Drive is limited. Instead of keeping or saving many videos in your Drive, download them from Google Drive and then upload your videos to My Media in Canvas. Then, you can delete the files from your Drive. For more information about Kaltura My Media, refer to Kaltura Capture.
