Kaltura Virtual Classroom is video conferencing software included in Canvas.
Host synchronous online classes and engage your learners with breakout rooms, quizzes, and more, all within your Canvas course.
Login
- Access Kaltura Virtual classroom within your Canvas course by selecting Media Gallery > Start Meeting.
- Students will join either by navigating to their course and selecting Media Gallery > Join Meeting, or by clicking the link to your KVC if you invite them directly.

Learning with Kaltura Virtual Classroom For Students
- To join your Kaltura Virtual Classroom session, follow the instructions below:
- Navigate to your course in Canvas.
- Select the Media Gallery link in the navigation menu of your course
- Select Join Meeting near the top right corner of the Media Gallery.

- A great feature of the Kaltura Virtual Classroom is it is embedded directly in Canvas and available to your students through the Media Gallery. Additionally, if you record your meeting or lecture, the recording automatically lands in the Media Gallery where they will be accessible to students and captioned with no additional work required for the instructor.
