The New To Ontario Tech Orientation program introduces new instructors and teaching assistants to teaching strategies, educational technology, the student experience, and the teaching and learning supports available at Ontario Tech.
Orientation is offered annually in August and explores a range of topics designed to help you prepare for teaching and become familiar with the Ontario Tech experience.

Who may attend New to Ontario Tech Orientation?
This year's orientation is open to instructors and teaching assistants hired at Ontario Tech on or following January 1, 2026.
Do I need to register to attend New to Ontario Tech Orientation?
Yes, all orientation attendees must register. To reserve your spot, please register by August 12 for Instructor Orientation and August 26 for TA Orientation.
