Welcome to Ontario Tech University!
The New To Ontario Tech Orientation program provides new instructors and teaching assistants with an introduction to teaching techniques and strategies, educational technology, the student experience, and teaching and learning services and support.
Orientation is offered annually in August, and explores a variety of topics designed to help you achieve teaching excellence and introduce you to the Ontario Tech experience.
Instructor Orientation
Open to instructors hired on or following January 1, 2026.
- When: Wednesday, August 19, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Where: In person at the Ontario Tech North Campus
Register by August 12 to secure your spot!
TA Orientation
Open to teaching assistants (TA) hired on or following January 1, 2026.
- When: Wednesday, September 2, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Where: In person at the Ontario Tech North Campus
