Nominees will be evaluated based on their teaching in the 2025 calendar year (Winter 2025, Spring-Summer 2025, and Fall 2025 semesters)

Nomination Forms

Award for Excellence in Teaching

Awarded to faculty members who demonstrate sustained and superior achievements in undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, as well as educational service and leadership.

Early Career Teaching Award

Recognizes innovation and excellence in teaching by individuals who are in the first five years of their teaching career.

Learning Reimagined Award

Awarded to faculty members who demonstrate unique and original solutions to specific problems of practice in their classes.

Open Education Award

Recognizes faculty members, staff, and students who encourage access and reduce barriers to excellent post-secondary education through the use of collaborative open practices.

Teaching Assistant Award

Recognizes teaching assistants who demonstrate superior commitment to their students through effective teaching.

Tim McTiernan Student Mentorship Award

Recognizes faculty members, staff, and students who consistently demonstrate a passion for supporting student success, an ability to inspire personal and professional growth, and an outstanding commitment to promoting the values of the university.
