- Ontario Tech's LMS team has upgraded the LTI for Pearson from 1.1 to 1.3. Previously Pearson MyLab and Mastering (LTI 1.1), all Instructors are encouraged to now use Access Pearson (LTI 1.3). Pearson will not allow course pairing using LTI 1.1 after June 15th, 2025. Information form Pearson about migrating your courses from 1.1 to 1.3 can be found here. You can also reach out to your Customer Success Manager for support.

- Please be advised that as of December 31, 2024, the e-rater grammar service will no longer be available in Turnitin products.

- October 2: A Chrome browser update is required to properly install the LockDown Browser for Chromebook extension. See this support article for instructions.
- June 28: LockDown Browser for Windows, Version 2.1.2.07 has been released with security improvements. Existing installations will be auto-updated. See the release notes for details.
- June 14: LockDown Browser for Mac, Version 2.1.2.06 has been released. This release includes bug fixes and security improvements. Existing installations will not be auto-updated. See the release notes for details.
- May 14: New Respondus Monitor features are available for instructors. See the list of Respondus resources for details.
- May 10: Updated guidelines on the effective use of Turnitin are available.
- May 3: LockDown Browser for Windows, Version 2.1.2.06 has been released. This release restores Kurzweil ReadTheWeb integration and contains security improvements. Existing installations will not be auto-updated. See the update notes for installation instructions.
- April 5: LockDown Browser for Windows, version 2.1.2.05, has been released. Existing installations will not be auto-updated. See the update release notes for installation instructions.
- March 21: LockDown Browser for Windows, version 2.1.2.04, has been released. See the release notes for details.
- March 20: As of September 26, instructors can no longer upload assignment submissions to Turnitin on behalf of students who are not enrolled in the class. See the Turnitin resource page for details.
