Student Digital Literacy Survey

At Ontario Tech, we strive to provide a learning environment that centres utilizing technology to deliver innovative learning experiences and enhance student success. The digital age has transformed how students interact with technology, yet there is a distinction between simply being a digital native (someone who has grown up with digital technology) and possessing true digital competency (ability to effectively use technology for learning and problem-solving).

The Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) is conducting a cross-Faculty survey to examine how educational technologies are being used by students, the effectiveness of these technologies in supporting academic achievement, and challenges faced by students in adopting new technologies. Your participation will help us identify gap areas where additional resources or training could enhance students' ability to engage with new technologies.

The survey will take approximately 7 - 10 minutes to complete and will require your ontariotechu.net email address for login purposes only. Your responses will help shape Ontario Tech's educational strategies to bridge the gap between digital familiarity and true digital competency.

Students of all academic levels are encouraged to participate. Responses will be accepted until Friday November 29 at 5:00 pm.
