Teaching Support
The Teaching and Learning Centre supports all members of the Ontario Tech University teaching community in their teaching roles. We offer one-on-one or group consultations, classroom observations and feedback, project support, and resources for a number of areas including teaching strategies and instructional design.
Book an Appointment
Please contact us to arrange a one-on-one appointment to discuss any aspects of your teaching practice. Appointments are available in-person, over the phone or online via Adobe Connect or Google Meet, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Classroom Observations
Teaching and Learning Centre staff are available to directly observe your teaching practice and provide guidance and support in the areas of:
- Instructional design
- Learning technology
- Student engagement strategies
- Evaluation and assessment
- Giving feedback
